House of azar

What do we offer?

The Ministry of House of azar is expressed in 2 key ways

1. Resourcing Churches and Christian Organisations

As part of our work we offer:-

    - leading, preaching and teaching in Churches

    - teaching programmes for churches

    - church away days and weekends

    - discipleship and spiritual formation courses

    - managing change

    - pastoral care, training and assistance

    - prayer and quiet days programmes

2. Hospitality

Offering hospitality was very much at the heart of the Celtic Christians of old

and we seek to follow their example. We do this in a variety of ways:-

    - short breaks for those who are tired, broken or simply worn out

    - study breaks

    - quiet space; individual led retreats

    - pastoral care

    - Soul Friendship (Spiritual Direction)

    - day retreats for small groups (maximum 10)

    - 'The Well' - monthly kitchen table church

Accommodation - We have one twin bedded guest room, with separate

private shower room/WC, and a guest sitting area in 'the snug'. In addition we

have a large heated Garden room, and a separate chapel.

For more details of any of the above please don't hesitate to get

in touch us. We seek to be flexible and responsive.

Our hope is that our c1730 cottage and garden in rural Herefordshire can be a place of solitude and quiet sacred space where those needing a refreshing touch from God can be restored and renewed.
